As a child, the Australian-born Donald Edge travelled extensively throughout Europe with his parents, an experience which peaked his interest in history, antique jewellery, and design. 

After settling in London in the mid-eighties he followed his passion, studying antique jewellery on Bond Street. “I was inspired by the history of jewellery, the forgotten stories, the workmanship and the attention to detail.” 

His Bond Street education (and handy black book) led him to open his first wholesale and retail space in the famous Antiquarius on Chelsea’s King’s Road. Here he entertained clients from across the globe, quickly building a reputation for integrity and artistry.

Donald next moved into private sales where he surrounded himself with a team of extraordinary craftspeople, working on one-of-a-kind pieces for an exclusive and discerning clientele.
 
Now based in Mayfair, Donald’s love for history, design and the arts has been instrumental in the development of the CODE by Donald Edge collection, which is inspired by semiotics, love, and the mysteries of life.
